Box styles
2D boxes project a rectangle on screen around the target. Corner boxes show only L-shaped edges for a cleaner HUD. 3D boxes wrap the model in world space and help judge depth on stairs.
Thicker lines are easier to spot at range but block more vision — start thin and increase only if you lose targets in bright maps.
Box ESP with other layers
Many players run corner boxes plus skeleton lines from /forum/war-dogs-skeleton-esp-explained instead of filling the whole screen.
Add health bars from /forum/war-dogs-health-bar-esp-explained when you focus damage trades.
Performance and clutter
Cap distance so boxes only render for relevant fights — /forum/war-dogs-distance-esp-explained.
Combine with player radar dots in /forum/war-dogs-player-radar-guide for off-screen awareness without extra boxes.
